Highly Trained, Tenured Staff

Morgan Blue

Therapist

Morgan Blue is a Primary Therapist at Serenity Knolls Treatment Center, where she supports individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, with a particular focus on trauma. Morgan has worked in addiction services since 2018 and draws from her own experience in recovery to connect with clients in a deeply authentic and compassionate way. She views clients as fellow travelers on the path to healing, with herself just a few steps ahead.

Morgan’s clinical approach is relational, person-centered, trauma-informed, and DBT-informed. She places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for healing and works to help clients cultivate radical acceptance, self-compassion, and meaningful behavioral change. She approaches therapy with warmth, humor, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Morgan understands that addiction does not occur in a vacuum. She highlights the impact of trauma, systems, stigma, and emotional dysregulation in shaping behavior and believes that with the proper support, everyone has the capacity to grow. Her work is rooted in empowering clients to rediscover their inner resilience.

Outside of the therapy room, Morgan enjoys hiking with her dog, attending live music events, and watching scary movies. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a dual concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC).
