Kate Lim
Therapist
Kate Lim is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), where she specialized in Expressive Arts Therapy. She brings a heart-centered, compassionate approach to her work, drawing on a deep belief in the power of healing through creative expression, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection.
In addition to her clinical training, Kate is a certified yoga instructor and integrates somatic awareness, Buddhist psychology, and expressive arts into her therapeutic work. She has experience supporting teens, adults, and families through a variety of challenges, including trauma, grief, and life transitions.
For the past three years, Kate has focused on working with individuals and families recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Her own experiences with recovery and loss inform her empathetic and nonjudgmental presence. Kate is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their stories, reconnect with themselves, and discover new pathways to healing and growth.
