Case Manager
Maxwell Strohl has been with Serenity Knolls since the summer of 2023. Maxwell Strohl is a case manager; trauma informed yoga teacher, and certified substance use disorder counselor. Max has worked in substance use disorder treatment for the last 4 years amassing immense experience with a wide range of clientele. Before moving to the Bay Area in 2023, Max worked with recently paroled individuals suffering from substance use disorder and LGBTQIA populations in the San Diego area at a nonprofit residential treatment center.
On top of Max’s traditional addiction counseling background and certification he is also a trauma informed yoga teacher and graduate student working towards his master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Future goals for Max include a specialty as an Internal Family Systems therapist and continuing to utilize his skills as an educator and clinician to best serve the community.
