Anna Joseph
Counselor II
Anna started her career as a Primary Counselor at Serenity Knolls in February of 2023 after moving to the Bay Area to study Somatic Psychotherapy. She received her RADT in 2023 and is currently enrolled at the California Institute of Integral Studies and is set to graduate with her Masters Degree in May of 2024.
Inspired by her own healing journey and keen interest in the field of trauma recovery, Anna’s previously held a position at San Francisco’s Center for Somatic Psychotherapy, counseling clients as a Marriage Family Therapist Trainee, addressing co-dependence, self-esteem, relationship issues, addiction, eating disorders, spiritual life, early childhood trauma, and inner-child restoration. She also expanded her treatment repertoire by becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher, guiding her clients to wellness by harmonizing the mind and body.
Outside of her counseling duties, Anna is also employed as a Forest School Teacher, providing education about nature and survival to her students. She also enjoys coaching and being a loving mom to her energetic 3-year-old.
